Did You Know (trivial trivia)?

The librarian can be 'reserved' for village history talks and sometimes a village 'walk-a-about', when the weather cooperates.

Can't make Wednesdays? No worries, we can schedule time for you on a Thursday. Our age group is often under 6yrs old, but any child can participate as long as you let the library know -- give us a call, or FB message!

Shelf Notes

April changes.. birds sing in tune to the flowers of May

...so says Robert Frost. Although I would not blame them in the least if they instead huddle together and grumble about the weather. But it will be warm soon enough. Then, rainy and humid.

The annual booksale is slated for May 26 starting 9am. And we hope the annual rain that comes on the same weekend will hold off for it.

Then it will be time for a very nifty summer reading series called: "Logan County 200".  We will not have any particular books in mind, but the crafts will focus on the county. Expect a little cement, a bridge, an owl, moccossins, a good calamity, a end with an edible train. We will begin the first Wednesday in June and then finish up in the middle of July, the week of the county fair. Give us a call or stop by to register - you can attend weekly or for all 6 weeks!
